Job Summary –Sales & Marketing Officer   (3 Positions)

We are looking for a passionate Sales & Marketing Officer to plan and oversee the company’s marketing activities and campaigns. You will be the one to ensure that all marketing operations are successful in meeting the goals set by management.

The goal is to ensure that the sales & marketing efforts of the company add the highest value to its business.

Sales & Marketing Officer Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engages in superior customer services by making information readily available
  • Finds ways to sell merchandises in the face of a down market and persists in sales even in the face of failure.
  • Researches client base to find new types of customers and sells to them accordingly.
  • Creates a plan for gaining customers and then retaining them based on warranties or guarantees
  • Analyzes and creates a plan for engaging the target market.
  • Analyzes the competition to create a plan for engagement.
  • Makes merchandises appeal to the target market.
  • Trains other sales people in the art of selling and makes sure that all salespeople meet quota during a given period.
  • Demonstrates superior time management skills and meets sales deadlines.
  • Developing and implementing an internal marketing programme.
  • Contribute to the implementation of marketing strategies.
  • Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness.
  • Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.).
  • Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote the success of activities and enhance the company’s presence.
  • See all ventures through to completion and evaluate their success using various metrics.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth.
  • Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses.

Requirements and Qualifications

BSc/BA in marketing, business administration or relevant field

Minimum 2-3 years of experience is required.

Proven experience as a sales & marketing officer or similar role

Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles

Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods

Excellent knowledge of MS Office.

Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

Creativity and commercial awareness

A team player with a customer-oriented approach
